Control exactly which notifications you receive from your study room. Stay informed about what matters to you — mute the rest.
When something happens in your study room — a new event, a bookshelf addition, a chat mention — the system creates a notification(called a "followup") for each relevant member. Your preferences determine which notifications reach you.
Something happens — someone creates an event, adds a book, mentions you, etc.
Preference check — the system checks your notification toggles. If the relevant category is OFF, no notification is created.
Notification delivered — appears in your Notifications feed as unread, with action buttons.
You take action — mark as read, dismiss, add to calendar, RSVP, or view the related content.
Important: you never receive notifications for your ownactions — only other members' activity.
